The MicroMAX Jr. multi-gas
detector can monitor from 2 to 5 gases simultaneously. Seven different
sensors are available, and they can be changed within minutes. These
sensors are automatically recognized by the microprocessor, and this
unique design allows for self diagnostics with each start up. The
MicroMAX Jr. has preset and field selectable TWA alarms. Both audible
and visual alarms warn the user if the oxygen levels are either too low
or enriched, and when combustible gas or toxic gas levels are too high.
Alarms will also activate in case of sensor failure and low battery
voltage. The MicroMAX Jr. Gas Monitor internally logs individual channel alarms, TWA
averaging and peak information. With a push of the "Mode"
button, review information as well as check battery voltage and elapsed
time. This information is available for display and documentation by
downloading to a Windows 95/98/NT-enabled PC when the data logging
option is purchased. The calibration procedure is very simple. Place the
monitor in calibration "Mode", introduce calibration gas, wait
two minutes and calibration is complete. The MicroMAX Jr. Gas Monitor is designed,
